Cloud transformation has become a strategic priority for enterprises seeking scalable infrastructure, operational agility, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making. However, the increasing dependence on distributed cloud environments introduces complex risks related to cybersecurity, compliance, operational continuity, data governance, financial exposure, and third-party services. Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) provides an important approach for addressing these challenges by enabling enterprise stakeholders to understand, interpret, and validate AI-generated risk assessments. This research proposes a cloud transformation framework that integrates explainable AI with enterprise risk intelligence management to improve transparency, accountability, and proactive risk mitigation. The proposed methodology combines cloud-based data integration, machine learning, explainability mechanisms, risk scoring, continuous monitoring, and decision-support capabilities. Enterprise data from security events, operational metrics, compliance records, financial indicators, and application telemetry are processed to identify emerging risk patterns. Explainable models provide feature-level insights and contextual explanations that allow decision-makers to understand why specific risks are identified and how risk factors influence predicted outcomes. The framework emphasizes secure data processing, model governance, human oversight, and continuous feedback. The proposed approach demonstrates how explainable AI can strengthen trust in intelligent cloud systems while supporting transparent, adaptive, and evidence-based enterprise risk management.References
